Desert Oasis Show House opened the 4,350-square-foot house on April 10 for different activities with Design Collaborative. This house, located in the famous Coachella Valley, involved 11 designers, one builder, and a landscaper architect to renovate. The designers found their inspiration from the owner of the house.
The design team for the renovation of this Coachella house includes Linda Allen; Donna Johnson; Jenika Kurtz; Shannon Palmer; Jen Samson, and so on. Part of the sale of the tickets went to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, FIND Food Bank, and Special Olympics of South California.
Inside the Living room by Michael Berman
Coming inside the Desert Oasis Show House, there is the main room. The designer Michael Berman remodeled the living room, dining room, and bar. In the renovations, the designer removed a ´70s pit and turned the room into a single-level space. Using the furniture, Michael divided all the different rooms.
In the dining area, the designer used a porcelain title mural based on a vintage menu from Maison Lines. He also incorporated a shark head behind the bar, giving highlights to the living room.
Inside the Kitchen by Donna Johnson
Moving Forward to the kitchen designed by Donna Johnson. The designer mixed neutral porcelain countertops with monkey pod wood cabinets. Plus, appliances are from Sub-Zero and Wolf.
Family Room by Shannon Palmer
This family room designed by Shannon Palmer features an oversized area rug that makes a cozy room. To separate the lounge area from the dining and the bar, the designers incorporated a bespoke curved sofa.
Primary Bedroom and Bathroom by Chris Barrett
The primary bedroom has a floating partition wall that separates the room from the dressing area. In this Desert Oasis Show House bedroom, the bedroom is a statement, plus the 14-foot-long- antique canoe hangs on the ceiling.
These natural elements in this beautiful room go into the bathroom with lined walls. Plus, an river rock flooring.
Guest Bedroom by Jen Samson
Furthermore, another guest bedroom was designed by Jen Samnson. In collaboration with the artist Ali Rybczyk, the designer painted the mural beside the bed. Above the soaking tub, there is an original installation celebrating Jim Olarte in the guest bathroom.
Powder and Laundry Room by Linda Allen
In the adjoining powder room, the pattern of a hula dancer pattern gives life to the room. To maintain the organic palette, Allen incorporated a countertop; backsplash, and carved stone basin to a vintage 1940s rattan vintage.
The designer Linda Allen made sure the laundry was pleasant and practical. With the wallpaper specialist Brenda Houston, they created an ocean blue wallpaper. The walnut cabinetry has functional grasscloth panels.

Guest Bedroom by Jenika Kurtz
Furthermore, the designer Jenika Kurtz designed the guest bedroom. A soft green and peach tones room with an upholstered headboard.
Guest Bathroom by Maya Williams
In this guest bathroom, the rose pink gold dominates the space. The rosy Dunn- Edward paint coat and the plumbing fixtures warm up the room.
Home Office by Huma Sulamain
In this beautiful home office, the designer Huma Sulamain used a functional design staple to offer double duty as a guest bedroom.
