SRG House, designed by Sir Roy and the architect Stuart Whitelaw had several owners that made their changes over the years. All of these characteristics have impressed Conrad Johnston and his wife Katrina.
Conrad decided to transform the two-bedroom unit into a four-bedroom residence. One of the most magnificent things about this Balmain, Modern Forest Home is the amazing view. A breath-taking view that compliments the tropical home.
This home is also focused on the sustainability theme. They replaced the façade with sustainable timber and high-performing glazing. But, Conrad also included high rating insulation of walls, hydronic flooring heating, and use the sea breeze coming from the south giving effective temperature control.
Conrad Jonhston is in love with brown and grey and this house is the reflection of these two colors. This combination transforms this place into a unique one.
