Kelly Wearstler Los Angeles Hotel is full of surprises. The Interior Design of this unique space is filled with Old Hollywood Aura. Let’s see!
This Los Angeles Hotel, was a swank private club, then in the 60’s became YMCA, and Kelly wanted to keep some details into novel suites.
According with Kelly, “Guest rooms have unique proportions and features that have lasted from the building’s genesis through its time as a YWCA. Which provided canvases for us to design transportive experiences,”. Inside this hotel, we can find Mexican modernism influences, French, Portuguese, Moroccan and Spanish.
The hotel opened in October, but Kelly Wearstler continues to complete the suites. It has 1430 square feet and inside has two-story half basketball court. Is has also the original 35-by-12-foot indoor swimming pool.
Withtin this hotel, Kelly decided to mixture vintage and contemporary vibes. And this is “manifested through vintage furnishings such as hand-carved chairs from Mexico, and vintage Turkish, Moroccan, and handcrafted rugs,”.
This is the restaurant that has a forthcoming pink lounge. Besides that, there is the open bar and the amazing rooftop restaurant.
