Kate Walker Mornington Peninsula Home is her dream come true. Once you enter Kate’s house it will feel like you are in a resort! Let’s see!
Kate Walker’s has a stylish resort vibe that you’ll be able to see in every corner of her home. Let’s take a tour!
We began with the outdoor design, which calls Summer in every design piece. A place where it is possible to relax and read a book.
Inside this home, the most important part is the kitchen. The stately slab of Amazonia is in the first place the breakfast spot in a rush, then host the lunch production. From 4 pm is a homework bench. The last meal is on the island’s surface.
We’re in love with the powder room, with a fantastic wallpaper with pink and white herons dancing in the walls.
Kate said that “We closed in the old verandah and extended the front entrance to make it a real focal point, and we looked a lot at connectivity between inside and outside. With the landscape design, it became about creating outdoor rooms, similar to how all of these different moments and experiences can be contained within the grounds of a hotel.”
The artist was in love with the aesthetics of the home and all the hallmarks. The main goal was to articulate all of those features and the house had its transformation.
Kate did an amazing job in this resort-style home, with unique design pieces and a decoration that we won’t forget.
