It was designed by Roman and Williams, and although their style is more focused on dark tones, they did something totally different in this New York Apartment. The new owners of this 19th century New York Apartment wanted something colorful and fruitful, and so they did. In order to have the decoration they want, they added a room that recalled Blanch Deveraux’s banana leaf-themed bedroom from The Golden Girls.

There is always the opportunity to make a change in a Brooklyn loft, and transform it into a sophisticated and elegant family home. Giancarlo Valle was the architect responsible for this project and designing his own home he choose as an inspiration, his South American roots, and his European ties.

When moving to the five-story townhouse, the couple needed to discover the quality of life keeping up their identity. The result is a house with an easy blend of contemporary and antique sensibilities.

This uber-loft belongs to Elsa Hosk and she projected her home, and this place is a reflection of her high standards and unique lifestyle. She wanted a home that was comfortable and welcoming at the same time, and so she did.

11. Soft Loft in Soho

This Soho apartment was in its first years a textile warehouse. After that, it was adapted to apartments and artists’ studios. Now it’s a residential home for a family of three. They preserved all the previous design details, and Jessica Schuster was able to create a unique and beautiful dialogue between the past and the present.
