The island holiday home by Greg Natale is a connected shed with the main building; bedrooms; two indoor and four outdoor living areas; a kitchen and a backup kitchen, and a couple of swimming pools as required.
The designer has already worked with this client on other projects. Therefore, she was capable of achieving a good result. With inspiration from Qualia, this beautiful island holiday home by Greg Natale is a warm and comfortable space. With Italian-style furniture reminiscent of the 1970s.
This outdoor space at this island holiday home by Greg Natale evokes a sense of warmth and comfort. Nothing could be better than incorporating an ACH Collection accessory like the Shadow God or the Mitchell II.
The Hamilton holiday home has a lot of wood furniture, and thanks to the humid environment of the area, Greg Natale had to take precautions. Therefore, the designer designed all the details in the kitchen and carpentry with high airflow., avoiding damaging the interiors materials of the house.
A LUXURIOUS HAMILTON ISLAND HOLIDAY HOME BY GREG NATALE
Greg Natale took advantage of the rosewood ceilings and worked the rosewood back with walnut on pieces like the dining table.
In addition, Greg Natale used a beautiful pattern on the sofa, the Monstera pattern, with a tropical look. Instead of using the typical sofa pad colors used in other interior projects.
You can always add ACH cushions to give a sophisticated and elegant touch to this Island holiday home.
The designer designed this beautiful and simple kitchen full of woodwork. This was carefully thought out to remain to look great due to the humidity of the environment.
The clients wanted the rooms to match to look like hotel rooms. The designer created a consistency between perceptions so that all the rooms feel the same.
In the bathroom, the designer incorporated pink curtains and wood furniture. The darker walls contrast with the light tones, emphasizing the theme of the interior rooms.
Besides transporting the furniture to the island, the biggest challenge was Cyclone Debbie on March 28, 2017. The storm caused damage to the house, delaying the final result. The clients faced the situation with optimists, making the home cyclone proof.
To conclude, this house was a perfect opportunity for Greg Natale to expand his projects. A house that won Readers Choice Best residential Home in the Belle Coco Republic Interior Design Awards.
