Serena Williams decided to purchase a sprawling waterfront property, with outstanding views, in a coveted enclave north of Miami. That way, she is just minutes away from her sister and her parents. Once she decided to have the ideal house, she asked for V Starr, the interior design firm of her sister Venus.

Luxury Objects

Here you can see the dining room design, with a group of pendant lamps by Tom Dixon (brass ones) and Simon Legald for Normann Copenhagen (glass ones). The artwork behind the table is by Serena Williams herself.

Venus treated Serena as any other client, which means that, her priority was catering to Serena’s vision.

This amazing home also features a Karaoke Room, with a neon sign designed by V Starr. The wall covering had the hand of Philip Jeffries and custom Banquette and Fama Chairs in a unique Bretano Velvet.

After 3 years, Serena finally moved into an ultra-modern property with her husband and child. This place was dreamed and imagined by Serena, but always with the wise guidance of V. Starr.

If you could ask you’re self what room is this, the answer would be an art gallery! However, it is the living room but totally transformed into an art gallery.

This happened because Serena believes that the livings rooms are just emotionless spaces. She believes that it’s not worth it to sit on a couch and just watch TV. This is the reason why she transformed it.

According to V Starr designers, this place has clean lines and high-end features with warm woods and casual touches, which is called “livable luxury”.

Side by side with exquisite art and design, there’s is also space for a simple, yet unique guest room. Painted in Benjamin Moore’s River Blue and exclusive furniture from West Elm.

Although this home has a sauna in the gym, a wine cellar, an expansive and outstanding terrace, an infinity pool, and a private trophy room, there’s something missing, the tennis court. However, Serena has made it very clear, according to her “I wanted to separate home from work.” “I love being home. When you have our job, you never get time to relax. So it’s good for me to be able to sit still and not do anything.”

One of the best places to sit and just relax, read a book, or have a good conversation. This is the terrace with RH furniture and an amazing view.

The picture of the infinity pool had to be here as well, aligned with the amazing view mentioned before!

Last, but not least, another perspective, not only of the pool but also the house itself. It is clear to see the soft lines and outstanding design of this place, Serena and her sister Venus did an incredible job together.
