Minimalist Interior Designers choosen by 1st Dibs and ready to step into your homes. Minimalist design is about prioritizing the essential, and that’s what we are going to see here.
Laura Hodges Studio
Laura Hodges Studio is the first of our list of Minimalist Interior Designers, and we begin very well. Hodges is a well-known interior designer, not only for comfortable interiors, but also because she always has a specific concern, sustainability. She creates sustainability spaces that balance color and light!
Nicole Hollis is a name that stays in our minds. All of her design are based in contrasts, for example, black and white. She believes that the key to creat timeless interiors is balance “…light and shadow, simplicity and detail, clarity and opacity, raw and refinement.”
Peter Mikic Interiors
Peter Mikic Interiors have class, elegance, and unique attention to detail. One of the things we love most about Peter is his flawless sense of proportion when he is designing his projects. He said that “… we’re able to create not only spaces that are wonderful to look at but ones that are completely usable, satisfyingly tactile and tailored specifically to the individuality of our clients, providing a sense of belonging.”
Rachel has a very specific style, because she bonds artsy boho chic with dramatic flair. One thing that she values the most is creation of emotions between the projects and her clients. That is always her main purpose.
Rafael de Cárdenas, Ltd.
Continuing our list of Minimalist Interior Designers, we have another famous name, Rafael de Cárdenas. He is a master in contrast, which means that he loves opposites. Classic versus modern, softness versus angularity. But, most of all he loves design that doesn’t have to be much. The right details in the right room can make a difference.
Romanek Design Studio
Regarding Romanek Design Studio, we choose one sentence that says it all, “I really believe living with beautiful things and comfortable things go hand in hand and can be harmonious. You should enjoy every room in your house. It’s about you and your family and how you want to live.”
Sean Leffers Interiors
Sean Leffers interiors always pay special attention to comfort, handmade furniture and surfaces. However he also includes ethnic art and fabrics to complete the interior design. He loves to make places that “… nurture us physically, emotionally and intellectually as well as grow our capacity to be in contribution.”
Shawn Henderson Interior Design
Shawn Hender Interior Design is known for his very consistent work. He uses artisanal objects, honest materials, but most of all, clean forms. What Hender enjoys the most is to be able to create spaces that are warm, comfortable, and safe for his clients.
Lee F. Mindel is the owner of SheltonMindel, and this interior design firm is all about classic decor. What they value the most is natural light, as we can see in these two pictures. Besides that, that is always a spectrum of white to amplify that light, in order to create movement.
Summer Thornton Design
Summer Thornton ends our list of Minimalist Interior Designers with a iconic sentence, “We believe a home should tell your story, whatever that story is — even if you’ve made it up! I love a little bit of fantasy and want my clients to have the freedom to express that side of themselves, too.”
