Italian Hotels are always breathtaking and this Castello di Reschio is no exception! He is a 10th-century castle, restored by Count Benedikt Bolza and his family.
You are looking to one iconic hotel in the Umbrian Hills, that has 30 suites and opened in the Spring of 2021. The Hotel Castello di Reschio sits on a 3,700-acre estate and has amazing views. It belongs to the Bolza family since 1994 and lies on the border between Umbria and Toscany.
The family lived in the castle for the past 10 years, while they were working to protect and restore the architecture. After that they began to create the interiors, always paying attention to the ancient building, but with a modern touch.
Total, it has 30 suites, some rooms have views of the central courtyard garden, others look out over the rolling hills. Either way, the view is always amazing!

Every single room is decorated with terracotta-brick or wooden floors. It also has Italian fabrics, crafted marble, and brass vanities. BB for Reschio is also responsible for the crafted beds and lighting in the hotel. This brand belongs to Benedikt Bolza!
According to the family, “Benedikt has embraced an organic approach to the design, championing local craftsmanship and creating thoughtful, whimsical spaces. Filled with comfort and wit, while artfully nodding to the fascinating characters who once resided within the castle walls,”.
All guests have dining options, one of them includes the Ristorante Al Castello, located in the castle’s western ramparts. They serve authentic Italian dishes made with their own productions.
Another option is Il Torrino, the watchtower that serves light fare and drinks.
Italian Hotels are always a good idea, and we are in love with Castello di Reschio, with his charm, character, and authenticity! Transforming castles into hotels is a true investment, but worth all the money!
