Now, let’s talk a little bit more about the apartment, that was designed by David Ito Arquitetura. There ware two basic concepts present in this modern place, rational and emotional. All of this because of its clients needs. Regarding the rational side, there were a few changes so the three small bedrooms become a large bedroom with bathroom, guest bedroom, and finally the office. The last one also work as bedroom.
The client of David Ito is a young businesswoman that has a sustainable design company. She makes objects out of used coffee grounds. She told David that she would like a sophisticated social area and a cozy private area.”
A minimalist, yet elegant design developed through the use of only a few materials that made a enormous affect. This project gathers the love for biophilia, wood finishes, glass panels, and plants. The large windows fill the space with natural light, ideal for the vertical gardens.
The kitchen alcove opens up thanks to folding doors that blend into the dark wood panels. The dark and green details unite the kitchen and the living room space.
